Positioned at the top of the great Tête de Cuvees, Krug traces an unbroken lineage of winemakers from father to son for six generations. There is no formula or recipe to Krug Grande Cuvee. Each year the family meets to recreate the style, with careful attention to the most minute detail, so that six years later it is in perfect continuity to previous Grande Cuvee. A stunning mosaic of flavours, an assemblage of up to fifty different wines over several different vintages combine to give Krug Grande Cuvee its complexity, elegance and grace.

Champagne Henriot was officially founded in 1808 by Appoline Henriot. She was the niece of the very famous Abbe Godinot, an erudite man who contributed greatly to improvements in viticulture and sparkling winemaking. Champagne Henriot became the favourite of the Dutch court and the Hapsburg emperors. Brut Souverain is a Champagne full of elegance, lightness and finesse, sublime as aperitif and exquisite through each course of an entire meal. A dominant component of Chardonnay gives this Cuvee a comely and racy profile.

Mostly Pinot Meunier with a quarter Chardonnay and smaller portion of Pinot Noir, a third of reserve wines are included in the assemblage. Champagne H.Blin & Cie was established 1947 by respected winemaker, Henri Blin. Today it is a co-operative of more than a hundred growers situated in and around the little village of Vincelles in the Marne Valley. A highly distinguished area of Champagne, Pinot Meunier is the dominant grape in Vallee de la Marne, where an abundance of southern facing slopes produce the ripest wines with full aroma.

In 1883, notary and wine lover Henri Grandin married Mademoiselle Pouillet de Limesle, whose family owned the cellars at La Bouvraie in the old royal glassworks of Louis XIV, situated underneath a splendid castle at Ingrandes sur Loire. In 1886, he launched the label that bears his name. Grandin remains to this day an elegant sparkling with an exceptional palate, fine bead and exquisite bouquet. An assemblage of fruit from the Loire, Bordeaux and Charentais, is treated to a natural secondary ferment in bottle for a year, within the darkness of the 17th century Grandin cellars.

Established 1584, Gosset is one of the smallest producers in luxury Champagne, but what it lacks in volume it amply makes up for in quality and prestige.
